Faith that can move mountains

Last week I spent a lot of time reflecting on the word “faith”. This simple word composed of only 5 letters can move mountains. Faith comes easily in moments of joy, happiness and peace. On the other hand, it can easily be lost in moments of sorrow, sadness and discouragement…

Keep the faith

When we feel heavy-hearted and burdened we need to trust in God and be still. Simply because that is what the Lord is asking. Even when our sky is grey and filled with dark clouds and shadows, we must keep the faith, “ The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” – Hebrew 11:1

We should never let our guards down when we face hardships. The enemy of our soul longs after our fall and his ultimate goal is to separate us from The Source of Life. He also knows that if he succeeds, we will walk in terrible darkness and loose faith.

“ So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. “ Isaiah 41:10

Sisters, even if we’ve cried all the tears left in our body or feel too weak to keep going, we must pray. We must persevere in knocking at the door and keep our request before the Lord. God will give us courage and will bring us from a state of weakness to a state of strength. God hears our humble cries. He listens.

“ Our prayers are to be fervent and earnest as were the petitions of the needy friend who asked for the loaves at midnight. The more you ask, the firmer will be your spiritual union.”

“ God is our refuge and strength , a very present help in trouble.” - Psalm 46:1

“ While you are trusting in your Heavenly Father for the help you need, He will not leave you. God has a heaven full of blessings that he want to bestow on those who are earnestly seeking for that help that the Lord alone can give. –
