Yay, Spring Is Here!

Spring is finally here lovely ladies! Well, actually it is for those of us living in temperate areas of the northern half of planet earth… I am beyond excited for this new chapter. In fact, spring is my favorite season, simply because witnessing God’s hands at work in nature, is truly amazing! Nature finally wakes up from her long, dark and cold sleep. Snow is melting, little birds are chirping, flowers are blooming. The temperatures are rising, the sun is definitely more present and warms our skin. I also love seeing the drastic change of colours and the opening of buds. The dark greys, whites and browns of winter slowly start disappearing, to let a pallet of vibrant pastel colours take the lead. In all, spring can’t help but put a smile on everyone’s faces. It is a season of freshness, beauty, joy, growth and novelty.

“Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge Him. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear; He will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.“

Hosea 6:3

A new season, a new challenge

Speaking of novelty, I thought we could enter into this new season by studying the book of Proverbs 31, the virtuous woman. It is such a beautiful depiction of what the Lord is calling us to! I aspire to become just like her. She is a homeworker and a good steward. We learn how creative, industrious, faithful, caring, loving and virtuous she is. She is what the Lord wants us to be and we can, by His grace alone, take upon this majestic role.

“Who can fin a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.”

Proverbs 31:10

As a matter of fact, it is such a privilege we have, to be God’s daughters. We have such an important role to play in the lives of those who surround us. By simply studying this chapter, and praying earnestly we will learn so much about ourselves and how to be better christians. Not only we will learn about Christ’s love for us, but it will definitely push us closer to heaven. In other words, I hope you will embark with me in this grand adventure!

Ladies, let’s become like the Proverbs 31 woman, by God’s grace!
